← Back to home baseThe one homework
Finish your 6x6 Role Matrix
- Go back to the chat we worked in today and keep the conversation going.
- Go through each of your six pillars and rename them to the real names you use inside your business.
- Drop anything that does not fit and swap in something that does, until you have six pillars with six deliverables under each.
- Keep the deliverables that, if AI handled them for you, would truly save you time and be worth it.
- Send me the HTML file your AI creates for your 6x6 Role Matrix.
Optional, if you want to get ahead
Capture your business context from today's chat
Paste this prompt into the same chat we used today. Your AI will save what you already told it about your business, so you never have to repeat yourself again.
CONTEXT FOLDER BUILDER How to use: paste this into the AI chat where you have already described your business. It reads this whole conversation and builds your context folder from what you have already said. No questions. It just builds. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [CONTEXT] Look back over everything I have told you in this chat and anything I have uploaded. From that, build my "context folder": a small set of plain files that teach any AI what it needs to know about my business, so I never have to re-explain. Use only what is already in this conversation. Do not make anything up. If something a file needs is not in the conversation, leave a short [TODO: ...] note in its place instead of guessing. Build exactly four files: - business.md what my business is, what it sells, and how it makes money. - clients.md who I serve and who my current clients are. - goals.md where the business is going and what winning looks like. - team.md who is on the team, human and AI, and who does what. [ROLE] Act as a sharp Chief of Staff who turns a messy pile of context into clean, useful files. Write in plain English a fifth grader could follow. Be honest about what is missing instead of inventing it. [TASK] Read the conversation, then write the four files now. For each one: clear headings, short plain-English bullets, only what is true from what I said, mark gaps as [TODO: ...], and keep it tight and skimmable. Use this shape: business.md - One line: what the business is. - What we do and the problem we solve. - What we sell and how we make money (offers, prices, how people buy). - What makes us different and how we are positioned. - Tools and systems we run on. - Size and stage (revenue, number of people) if known. clients.md - Ideal client: who they are, their size, what they need, what they pay for. - Current clients: one short block each (name, what they bought, status, main contact). - How we win clients (referral, outreach, partners) if known. goals.md - The big goal and the vision in one or two lines. - Numeric targets and their timeframe. - The main strategies: how we win, and what we choose NOT to do. - This quarter's or this month's priorities. - What winning looks like. team.md - The owner: name, role, what they own, how they like to work, any limits on their time. - Team members and roles (human and AI), and what each is responsible for. - Partners and key outside people, and how they help. Output: if you can write files, create a folder called 00-context and save each file inside it as business.md, clients.md, goals.md, and team.md. If you cannot write files, print each file's full contents in its own clearly labeled block so I can copy and save it.
Connect your tools
Give your AI hands. Connect the apps you already use so it can pull real information for you.
and any others you use
Bring your finished 6x6 to Session 2, Wednesday July 22.
