Your Morning Executive Brief

One screen every morning: what happened yesterday, what is on today, your numbers, your drafted emails, and the short list of decisions only you can make. It does the safe work before you wake up. You review and decide.

Four steps. By tomorrow morning it runs by itself.

1Connect your tools

Give Claude hands.

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and turn these on. If you cannot find it, just ask Claude: "Help me connect my Gmail."

Gmailyour email
Google Calendaryour schedule
Google Driveyour files
Meeting recorderFathom, Zoom, or what you use
Task systemif you use one
Anything else you live insearch the connector directory

A missing tool never breaks the brief. That section just says "connect this to unlock it."

2Build the foundation

Give your workspace a brain.

Copy this prompt into a new chat with access to your CC Workspace folder. It interviews you and builds the base: your CLAUDE.md identity file, your 00-context folder, and your 00-chief-of-staff folder with the Agent Builder installed. Everything else you build today lives inside this.

3Install your brief

Paste this once. Answer its questions.

Copy the whole prompt below and paste it into a new chat in your CC Workspace. It interviews you (your numbers, your goals, your voice), builds your morning-brief folder, and then hands you your personal Daily Run Prompt. Say yes when it offers a test run.

4Schedule it

Make it run every morning.

  1. Copy the Daily Run Prompt Claude wrote for you at the end of Step 3.
  2. Tell Claude: "Create a scheduled task that runs every weekday at 6:30 AM called Morning Executive Brief, with this prompt:" and paste it.
  3. Confirm the task shows up in your scheduled tasks.
That is the whole install. Tomorrow morning your brief is waiting in a chat: numbers pulled, emails drafted, calls prepped, decisions queued.

How you know it worked

Tomorrow you open Claude and the brief is there. Every number shows its source or says "needs input." Every email has a draft waiting for your review. Nothing was sent without you.

Build your next agent

The same pattern we used in Session 2 works for any deliverable on your 6x6. Copy this prompt into a new chat in your CC Workspace. It interviews you, asks for one real example of the work, and builds the agent as a folder you can run any time.
